Day 2: Orange Nails

Now we are  on to the second day of the challenge and today is Orange Nails!

According to Wikipedia, the colour orange is named after the appearance of the ripe orange fruit. Before this word was introduced to the English-speaking world, the colour was referred to as ġeolurēad (yellow-red).

From Cure.com, Orange is a power color. It is one of the healing colors. It is said to increase the craving for food. It also stimulates enthusiasm and creativity. Orange means vitality with endurance. People who like orange are usually thoughtful and sincere. Lady luck's color is orange. It has been told that if a change of any kind is need in life, just burn an orange candle for 7 nights. Hmmm..sounds like a plan.

I choose to use my Mutya Nail Polish in Party in Manila. It is so translucent I find it hard to achieve the color I see in the bottle so I first applied a satin white polish then the Mutya polish to make it opaque. Then I added Bobbie Premium Nail Creme in Star Gazer at the tips to add style. The application is quite messy, I'm sorry.

Thank you for visiting today and hope to see you tomorrow  in my Yellow nails.
