Nail Art: Dazzling Purple with White Flowers Tip

I've been busy last week that I haven't done my weekly nail art post. But since I have to attend a wedding last Saturday, I have to "accesorize". I will be wearing a purple blouse and black slacks so I've decided to put on a purple nail polish as well. I used L.A. Colors Rockstar Nail Polish. It has a great shimmering effect on the nails that I love. Then I add little flowers on the tip to make it gorgeous yet simple.

The flowers aren't perfect. But it's a great start for a newbie like me. Right? ;)
Do I pass as a nail art artist? More like nail artist customer! LOL!

Nail Art: My First Sponge Nail Art

Hello..! I hope you will find this blog helpful and informative to you and your nails. This is my first sponge nail art attempt. I use cheap(I'm on a budget. Always!) and readily available materials. I used Yaxi Nail Polish( PHP15/each) in two shades, one in light pink and the other is in fuchsia(darker) shade.

 1. After applying your base coat, apply two coats of the lighter shade polish that you  have chosen. Let it dry.

 2.  Brush polish to an eyebrow sponge(the one you do not use anymore). Tap excess polish in a paper if there is such.

3. Tap the sponge to the tip of your nails to create a gradient effect. I did two coats to perfect the design. ;)

My gradient nails. I super love the color blending, looks like bubble gum. Super girly. You could stop from here and put on your favorite top coat but since I'm ma-heart-ty, I put on lines on the tips in two tones (black and gold) as what you can see on the picture below.

And viola!! The art is done. I don't know what and where to take the pic of my finish nail art, so i grabbed the first thing that is within my reach, my ma Nail Polish Remover container! What an art! hehehe..

Ooops.. Sorry for the blurred images. Don't have a decent camera yet, but I can't stop posting. So I just used my phone cam. My fault. :(

My Fist Nail Art Post!

To give justice to my blog account, I want to share with you my New Year Nail Art. I made this for, I think, more than an hour because of the three layer base coats and two-toned flower that I designed. :)

The pics was taken in our New Year Celebration :) Sorry if it appears blurry, I don't know how to use the focus option of the camera yet..

Thing I used:
  • Bobbie Premium in Candy Cane
  • Bobbie Premium in Blue Sleigh
  • Silver Nail Paint
  • Gold and White Nail Art Pen for the Flower

Hope you like it..<3

New Year Celebration the Provincial Way

Happy New Year to you...

Thanks for visiting my blog. As you can see, this is only my second post. Sorry if this is not about nails. ;)) This is about how we spend the first day of the year here in our place.

We conducted a parlor games for the children to enjoy in my favorite aunt's house in Kenram where I think 40 children waited for our arrival. This is our way of giving back or sharing what had been given to us in the past year. We packed candies for our prices. It was simple yet fun..super fun..!
My sister Lyn, the tall lady on the left, was the facilitator of the event. Me, as usual, is the emcee and photographer.

Everybody knows this.. Tug of War!!

Egg Hunting.. This is my favorite. A blindfolded contestant with a stick will hunt the egg then crush it with the stick. Nobody won because all of them was spanking the soils instead..hehehe..

Calamansi Relay

Sack Race

After the games, the children went home with their pockets full of gooodies and smiles on their faces. It felt good that in our own little way we have made their New Year memorable. God bless you..

Hello Blogging World!

I wish I have known this a long time ago. But since the "spirit of vanity" came into my body just recently as I realize that I have to love and pamper myself because I deserve it, I browse the net for a make over tutorials and the forums thought me a lot especially those sissies with blogs and reviews about every product that is out in the market today. Reviews, rants and experiences of other bloggers help me to chose my "rituals" :)

And since I have this love for art, I have decided to join and become a blogger myself and share my nail works, reviews and experiences as well. I hope I could be of help to another sister through my blogs and eventually gain more friends.
