Nail Art: The Travel Teller

Hello.. This time I am showing you the design I made for my sister. She is a nurse and currently reviewing for her IELTS Examination on May. She is staying at our house in Davao City.
The design was for her blogger friend Olan. He is the author of a travel blog called The Travel Teller that showcases the most wonderful spots in our beloved country, the Philippines. His latest adventure was in Ilocos, a place me myself would love to visit. Click the link and you will surely see that it really is More Fun in the Philippines. ;)
The nail design was inspired by Olan's T-Shirt design. Just a simple footsteps design on the pinky, middle and index finger. Then the words I ♥ TRAVEL TELLER on the thumb and BE OLANIZE on the ring finger.

Family Day with my Little Girl

Hi! How are you today?  This post is about our Family Day Celebration last Saturday at my daughter's school. It was a perfect timing for me to spend quality time with my daughter because I was busy the past few weeks with my work and haven't had a bonding time with her in a while.
We left home at 8am to participate in the motorcade but to our surprise, the program is about to start when we arrive and the motorcade was over. Oh my! (Next time I'll ask for a Programme a day before!) So Jaja(my child) hurried to go back stage for they will sing the National Anthem.
This is our Official T-Shirt for the Grade One Team.

Good Day! How was you week?
It's weekend again and it's time to relax and be with our love ones. Be out there and spend time to your family or friends to have fun because you deserve it after a week full of workload! For me and my daughter, we are going to her classmate's birthday party tomorrow and it's going to be a Costume Party so we have to look for her costume today. Any ideas?

Nail Art: Plants vs. Zombies

Hi!.. I just copied the design of one of my favorite nail art channel in youtube, IHaveACupcake. Its a simple(?) plants vs. zombies design. You must go and visit her channel because she makes nail art stuff look easy.

Look at the zombie. Its pathetic! lol!

I know this is far from what she did, but hey, I'm just a beginner. :) I hope you like it and 'til next time.

I'm Out: Manila Ocean Park Experience

It was a Sunday, a sunny hot Sunday and I was so excited. My best bud and I were off to Manila Ocean Park! It was my first time to visit the. place and "excitement" was an understatement to describe what I felt. I heard about it from my family (yes! they went there without me!), friends and media.

Nail Art: My Valentine

Need I say more?... Today is Valentines Day, so I decided to spread the love through my nail art.
My friend's obsession was for her bf to come home from Libya. She ask me to design her nails to show him, well its obvious, her love.

This is her left fingers, with again, different design on each nails.. I love the rose most!

My gift to the mother of my friend who is celebrating her birthday today. Looks like a lace! How I wish I could do that on my nails.

My own valentine mani. Simple red and silver french tip with simple art on the side.  The little thumb was  my daughter's.

So, how did you find it?
Do you have plans for tonight? Happy Valentines day!

Weekend Blog Follower Caravan #7

Hi!..  Welcome to my blog. I hope you find it interesting and worthy to follow. Drop a comment bellow and I will surely follow you back.  Also visit pinaymommy blog to help out our other sissies. Keep safe mommies.. :)

My First Glimpse on the New Peso Bills

I went to BDO yesterday to deposit. When it was my turn, the teller ask me if I want to change my old bills to the new one. I immediately said said yes, but to my dismay they only have 50 peso bill left. Their head office only gave them 2 bundles of 20's and 1 bundle of 50's. So I gave my one hundred peso bill in exchange of two brand new, "bank-scent" and crisp 50 peso bill. ;) After my transaction at the bank, I hurriedly go back to our store to show off my new bills. They became an instant celebrity! lol..

So here is what I've observe:
1. Design highlights: President Sergio Osmeña, the first national assembly in 1907, the Leyte Landing, the seal of the President and the new BSP seal. At the back is the Taal Lake, the deepest freshwater lake found n the country, as well as the animal Maliputo are showed on the reverse side. On the right is a design highlight from an embroidery handcrafted in Batangas.

2. It has more security features against counterfeiting. The serials are ascending in fonts.

3. Color wise, it's more vibrant. It looks like the paper bills in Singapore. I even thought it was a foreign currency at first sight.

4. It's a millimeter(I think) bigger than the old bill.

5.  President Sergio Osmeña's image is much much younger. He looks good. :)

All in all, I like this more than the old one.. I didn't use it yet. Keeping it inside my wallet until it's widely use and released. I wish i could have the 500 peso bill too with Ninoy and Cory's images on the front..hehe

New Year Celebration the Provincial Way

Happy New Year to you...

Thanks for visiting my blog. As you can see, this is only my second post. Sorry if this is not about nails. ;)) This is about how we spend the first day of the year here in our place.

We conducted a parlor games for the children to enjoy in my favorite aunt's house in Kenram where I think 40 children waited for our arrival. This is our way of giving back or sharing what had been given to us in the past year. We packed candies for our prices. It was simple yet fun..super fun..!
My sister Lyn, the tall lady on the left, was the facilitator of the event. Me, as usual, is the emcee and photographer.

Everybody knows this.. Tug of War!!

Egg Hunting.. This is my favorite. A blindfolded contestant with a stick will hunt the egg then crush it with the stick. Nobody won because all of them was spanking the soils instead..hehehe..

Calamansi Relay

Sack Race

After the games, the children went home with their pockets full of gooodies and smiles on their faces. It felt good that in our own little way we have made their New Year memorable. God bless you..
