Day 23: Inspired by a Movie

Inspired by the movie AVATAR.

Sorry for the lack of post this past week. I've been very busy with my daughter's finals. Hope you understand. I'll try to post this afternoon.

Day 22: Inspired by a Song

I was thinking of what will I do for this challenge when my father, who is a karaoke addict, sung one of his favorite song by Barry Manilow which is "I write the songs". So I decided to create a simple musical symbols design that musicians first do with every music they make. It all begin in a music sheet.

Day 21: Inspired by a Color

This is a simple design that is inspired by the base color which is San San Tea Rose. It is a nice shade of pink, almost nude for my skin tone and tiny little shimmers.

Day 20: Water Marble Nails

Heck! It's a mess! I'm not doing it again..It's complicated. It's hard. It's time consuming. It's M-E-S-S-Y!

Day 19: Galaxy Nails

Just a simple "galaxy" effect nails with stars accents..

Day 18: Half Moon Nails

Oh my God! I thought this would easy but it's not.

Day 17: Glitter Nails

I have many glitter polishes but I love this the most because it is the chunkiest.. :)

Day 16: Tribal Nails

Just a bunch of dots and lines. I don't know what tribe is this..hehe

Day 15: Delicate Nails

I have been thinking what would I do in this challenge. I surf the net and peek into what others have done in their Delicate nails and I they used stamping as their method and sadly, I'm bad at stamping so I have come up with this, a simple french tip nails with gold accent and added a flower to style. :)

Day 14: Flower Nails

I was thinking of what medium will I use to do this design. I was thinking of stamping and glittery accent. But I stumbled upon my nail stickers before I get my hands on my stamping plates and realized that I haven't had any post or design using stickers. So I decided that I'll be using this stickers to my Day 14: Flower Nails challenge.

Day 13: Animal Print Nails

Rawr!! :) How was your day? Day 13 and still fighting! This is a simple tiger inspired nail design that you could wear this summer for that zoo adventure you are planning this summer.

This design only needs this two polish. An orange base color and black striping nail paint.

Day 8: Metallic Nails

Today will be a quickpost. This is my 8th day of the nail art challenge and it features Metallic Nails.

I was wondering what polish would I used to this challenge when I stumbled upon Caronia's Facebook page and saw their profile picture was their Bright Nights Collection and I remembered my Gold Rush. So I then applied my base coat and noticed that I haven't tried french nails in this challenge. So I applied the Gold Rush in a slanting style and added a black stripe to add dimension in the design.

Day 7: Black and White Nails

Wow! I'm done with my first week of the challenge! Today is Black and White Nails! Yay!

There are many designs out there that you can come up with these two basic colors. But I decided to use stripes and dots this time to make is simple and doable for us. 

Day 6: Violet Nails

HI! Today is the 6th day of the challenge and it features Violet nails!

This will be a quick post. I'm a bit in a hurry for my daughter's homework tonight. :) The day went very busy and I almost forgot to post today. Thanks for my To-Do List that reminded me of my duties in my blog. So here it goes..

I used La Belle African Violet as my Base Color as I applied my base coat.

Day 5: Blue Nails

♫♬When I'm feeling blue all I have to do is take a look at you..♫♬ Hi ladies! I hope you're not feeling blue today. But let me share something blue today because it's day 5: Blue Nails!!  Yay!

Blue is one of my favorite colors. I like its calming aura and cooling effect to my eyes. I even wear a blue gown on my debut. :) Oh those were the days. Let me share to you what I have found online about blue.

According to a site, blue is a natural color, from the blue of the sky, blue is a universal color. The cool, calming effect of blue makes time pass more quickly and it can help you sleep. Blue is a good color for bedrooms. However, too much blue could dampen spirits.

Put some blue in your life when you want:

• calm and relaxation to counteract chaos or agitation
• to open the flow of communication
• to broaden your perspective in learning new information
• solitude and peace

Day 4: Green Nails

This is the 4th day of my challenge and I must say, it really is a challenge to think and decide what style will I offer you everyday in the next days.

This day will be a Green Day Polish.

Let's talk Green, Wikipedia says the word green is closely related to the Old English verb growan, "to grow". It is used to describe plants or the ocean. Sometimes it can also describe someone who is inexperienced, jealous, or sick. In the United States of America, green is a slang term for money, among other things. Several colloquialisms have derived from these meanings, such as "green around the gills", a phrase used to describe a person who looks ill.

Put some green in your life when you want:

• protection from fears and anxieties connected with the demands of others
